Dollars for Seniors Lottery Opens
Dec 17, 2015A popular Fishers tradition is right around the corner! The Dollars for Seniors program is a flagship scholarship program organized by the Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation. Since its inception more than 20 years ago, the program has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to support FHS and HSEHS seniors in achieving their higher education goals.
One goal of DFS is to raise community awareness regarding the work of the Foundation and expose students to local philanthropy. It is our vision that all studnet participants will serve as Ambassadors for the Foundation and learn a bit more about the community they call home.
Of course, DFS raises funds to aid our students in their pursuit of higher education. The scholarships associated with DFS are entirely dependent on the funds generated through the pledge and telethon program.
One hundred local students will be selected to participate in the 2016 Dollars for Seniors program via a randomized lottery. Students may register for the lottery here on or before noon January 29, 2016.
