Double Your Donation

A holiday tradition is right around the corner.  Every year, the largest unofficial charitable holiday known as #GivingTuesday kicks off the giving season.  This special day – designed to restore the spirit of the season –  was in response to the commercialism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  This year, education supporters will have the chance to double their donation to local schools.

A team of local philanthropists are standing by to match up to a $1,000 every hour of Giving Tuesday for a total of $24,000!   Freedom Kolb, Executive Director of the Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation explains, “This is a day we can truly show around the clock support of our educators.  We can let teachers, coachers, counselors, nurses, bus drives, food service staff, and administrators know how much they mean to students and how they make a difference every day.”

Michelle Fullhart, HSE School Board Member and one of the challenge donors, shares, “Whether funding a remarkable school based program like Mindfulness, introducing students to a new STEAM opportunity, opening another student scholarship, or writing a district grant proposal, everything HSSF does is made possible by our generous community that values education.  I am proud to be involved with this effort to encourage collective impact.”

Michelle is joined by fellow philanthropists David Becker Family, Allen and Melissa Bourff, Kevin and Shelly Clasen Family, Bud and Karen Colglazier, John and Amy DeLucia, Joe and Florie Eaton, Kevin and Diana Ephlin Family, Bill French, Fritz in Fishers, Michelle and Greg Fullhart, The Henderson Family, Todd and Denise Huston, Walt and Sheila Kelly, Jon Kroehler Family, Tom Long of Long and Associates CPA’s, John McDonald, Kurt and Cathy Meyer Family, John and Dorothy Mills, Tracy and Jessica Mills Family, Jodi and Greg Osmun, Mike and Paula Peterson, Terry and Lisa Tolle, Corby Thompson and anonymous donors in making a charitable commitment to every student, every grade, every school!

On Tuesday, November 28, 2017 – the Tuesday following Thanksgiving – education advocates are encouraged to help the Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation meet the $24,000 challenge!  You can make a tax-deductible donation of any size online at www.hsefoundation.org or by check to HSE Foundation 13485 Cumberland Rd, Fishers 46038.
